How milo works.

Credits

Every scan runs on credits.

Each plan comes with a monthly credit allowance. Every time milo checks a price for you, it uses a few credits — how many depends on your date window and how often you ask us to look.

Wider date ranges and more frequent scans use more credits. A single route checked once a day sips your balance slowly; a tight departure window checked twice a day burns through it faster. Your dashboard always shows exactly how much you've got left and when it resets.

Running low before your reset date? Top up any time from £5 — top-up credits never expire and are always used last, after your monthly allowance.

Built from your exact criteria.

Set your route, choosing from 1 or 2 departure airports. Eg: to Bangkok from Heathrow or Gatwick; or to New York from Glasgow or Edinburgh. This maximises your chances of finding a great price.

Then select your travel window, and minimum and maximum trip length. Eg: any time in February, trip length of 10 to 14 days; or second half of July, trip length of 6 to 8 days. Being more flexible maximises your chances of finding a mega price drop.

Select if you want to only search nonstop flights or 1 stop, and your maximum layover time. This will apply to both legs for return flights.

Choose your cabin class and, for business or first, you can choose which type of seat you're looking for. Eg: business class, lie flat and individual suite; or first class, individual suite only. (seat type selection only available on Pro plans)

You can even include/exclude specific airlines, and search only for flights departing between certain times.

It's the difference between a genuinely custom alert and a bulk mailshot sent to everyone at once. You tell us what you'll actually fly, and that's all we scan for.

Alerts, continued

Set a price with real context.

Before you commit to a target price, milo shows you where prices for your route typically sit — cheap, average, or expensive — so you're not guessing. The insights are specific to your route and criteria, so a nonstop flight will typically come back with a higher range than a 1 stop flight. Set a number that's a realistic win for the route you actually want.

Then choose how often we scan. Checking more frequently catches drops sooner, but uses more of your monthly credits — so you're always in control of that trade-off.

Booking

We find it. You book it.

We'll update your dashboard with the latest price every time we scan and, the moment your price hits, we pause the alert and email you straight away — no more credits spent scanning a route you're ready to book.

Your dashboard gives you a booking link to book that price directly with the airline. You might even find cheaper prices with OTAs via the link, but we only give you the airline price — it's always the most stable.
